OLX Autos Indonesia's Classified and New Business Director Agung Iskandar said that this achievement was almost close to the era before the pandemic.
In 2019, the demand for used cars grew 35 percent. A year later when Covid-19 hit Indonesia, purchases fell between 4 percent and 10 percent.
This can be seen in 2019. As many as 52 percent of transactions at OLX Autos are MPV. The next largest are SUVs with 25 percent, hatchbacks with 11 percent, LCGC with 9 percent, and sedans with 3 percent.
This year, sales during Ramadan are still dominated by MPV, although the percentage is down, which is 44 percent. Then, SUVs rose to 31 percent, LCGC 11 percent, hatchbacks 10 percent, and sedans 4 percent.
OLX Autos Indonesia Marketing Director Sandy Maulana said that the advantage of buying a car on the platform is the wide choice of cars. He claims there are more than 2,000 quality used cars.
