The movement of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) is still driven by the release season for issuers' performance in the first quarter of 2022, as well as dividend distribution, so there is still potential for strengthening.
The Composite Stock Price Index ( IHSG ) is predicted to strengthen in trading over the weekend tomorrow, Friday (27/5/2022).
Artha Sekuritas analyst Dennies Christopher Jordan in his research explained that the JCI closed lower on Wednesday (25/5/2022). According to him, the JCI closed lower, corrected due to concerns due to the weakening of global stock markets.
"The weakening is quite limited because domestically it is still supported by the release season for issuers' performance per quarter I/2022 and dividend distribution," said Dennies in his research, Thursday (26/5/2022).
Dennis predicts the JCI will strengthen in tomorrow's trading. Technically, the current movement is in the range of the consolidation trend with limited potential for movement.
"Domestic movements are still driven by the release season for issuers' performance in the first quarter of 2022, as well as dividend distribution, so there is still potential for strengthening. Investors will pay close attention to the release of several US economic data," said Dennies.
Furthermore, Dennies estimates that JCI will move at support 6,809 and 6,846, as well as resistance at 6,932 and 6,981.
