One way to prevent accidental death is to conduct training safety riding and driving safety . Does this rule also need to be applied in Indonesia?

National racer Rifat Sungkar said that driving knowledge in Indonesia is currently more than a vocational or life experience path, not academics.

According to him, driving awareness can be obtained from education.

"I suggest to them (police) safety riding education from an early age even elementary school," said Rifat Sungkar, in a virtual conference session, recently.

Furthermore, said Rifat, in England elementary school children have been taught how to walk on the sidewalk. While grade 3 elementary school children can guide grade 1 children walking on the sidewalk.

This has become a culture. In Indonesia, driving safety still really understands who is the priority on the road.

"Overseas, people who cross the road are prioritized, the second is bicycles and the third is motorbikes. Here, the law of the jungle, who is stronger wins, not the priority," said Rifat.

As is known, safety and security in traffic is the dream of all road users. However, motorized vehicle drivers in Indonesia generally drive vehicles without being equipped with proper driving knowledge and skills as well as traffic ethics. As a result, the road becomes a kind of "Killing Ground", for road users.
