Because of the moncer in the second half, Bagnaia is a predator in MotoGP 2022

Thanks to a tough performance in the second half of the MotoGP 2022 , Danilo Petrucci considers Francesco Bagnaia a predator when he is on a Desmosedici motorbike.

's fighting power Francesco Bagnaia is extraordinary where he is able to restore his position to now lead at the top of the standings.

For information, Bagnaia was doubted to be a champion candidate after his inconsistent performance in the first half.

His position at that time was 91 points from the leader of the standings, namely Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha).

Gradually Bagnaia was able to reduce the deficit behind Quartararo.

Valentino Rossi's student was increasingly unstoppable gaining momentum after Quartararo performed poorly in the second half.

He was difficult to reach the podium or victory until finally Bagnaia took the top of the standings in the Australian MotoGP . 

Bagnaia now only needs two more points to lock the world title in the final MotoGP Valencia 2022 series.

Petrucci as a former Ducati racer then salutes the improvement experienced by Bagnaia.

He saw that Bagnaia's transformation into a predator was unexpected after his inconsistent performance in the first half.

But Petrucci also predicts there will be a surprise from Quartararo even though the chances of defending the title are relatively small.

"Pecco has gone from prey to predator considering how the season started and how it is progressing now," Petrucci was quoted as saying by the newbie from Speedweek.com.

"Unfortunately Fabio turned into a rabbit to chase, he was in the middle of the Ducati riders who surrounded him."

"Without a doubt, I didn't expect Pecco to be so baggy and consistent. In the first half of the season it seemed like all chances seemed lost."

"Until a few months ago, it was unimaginable to see one rider fighting against seven Ducati riders."

"When you feel that you are dropping more points, you will definitely give your all, but it's not enough."
