Just yesterday Friday (7/1), fans were shocked by the existence of a account Spotify new allegedly belonging to Jungkook BTS . The playlist contains songs from artists that Jungkook chose and immediately by followed thousands of users. But later, fans found it was not the original account. This fan's suspicion is reinforced by the disappearance of the 'verified' sign on the playlist account's .
Clout News Media through its Twitter account has even reported about this 'fake' account. Quoting Koreaboo , Clout News mentioned Jungkook's Spotify profile which went viral and is no longer verified. "Fans are now wondering if the profile is fake and waiting for clarification from Big Hit Music," Clout News wrote on Friday night.
Fans have also collected some evidence that supports their suspicion that Jungkook's Spotify account is not the real Jungkook. The following is the evidence cited by Koreaboo .
1. There is a GoFundMe link
ARMY found a link to GoFundMe on this Jungkook playlist. Specifically, to raise funds for a child named Arianna Delane who became disabled because she was shot. This fundraiser was just created by aunt Arianna two days ago. Fans understand that BTS members like to donate to people in need. But the fundraising process was never published. That's why ARMY immediately guessed, this is not the original Jungkook account.
2. Key word 'Jung Kook' not found
Usually users can find the artist's name through the Spotify search field. Unfortunately, when you type 'Jungkook' or 'Jung Kook', the Spotify search engine doesn't find the artist's account. Unlike other names, such as Jin or Suga, which can be directly met and verified as an artist.
3. Unconvincing playlists
At first, fans thought playlist that the chosen by 'Jungkook' was a form of appreciation for the artists they admired. But there is one playlist that makes fans frown. The name playlist's is 'Gender Kills My Vibe', which fans think is a bit too sensitive. In addition, fans paid attention to the description of playlist another that Jungkook made, 'Dugeundugeun'. The description of playlist this uses a strange standard language and is not really 'Jungkook'.
4. There is no official information about the artist on Jungkook's account
If we open a particular artist's page on Spotify, usually there will be a little information about that artist. This can be found on the accounts of other members such as Suga and RM. But it's not on Jungkook's account. This account is only linked to Instagram, Twitter and Wikipedia.
5. No one is sharing the account
This is perhaps the clearest evidence. None of the BTS members, not even Jungkook himself, woro-woro or announced the existence of the account on other social media platforms. Even though usually members or agencies will announce, at least on Twitter. (*)
