The acquisition of thousands of hectares of land is aimed at increasing the production of crude palm oil ( CPO) Gunatama Prediction. "The location is around the company's plantation area," said the Finance Director of Pradik Gunatama, Tamlikho in Jakarta recently.

Currently, Gunatama Prediction owns oil palm land in Batu Engau District, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province, with a business permit area of ​​22,500 ha. The planted area has reached 12,888 ha with a mature plantation area of ​​12,526 ha, and is supported by a palm oil mill (PKS) with a capacity of 60 tons per hour extendable to 90 tons per hour.

"The company will increase production capacity at the palm oil mill from 60 tons per hour to 90 tons per hour by the end of 2022. It is expected that CPO production per year will increase from 75 thousand tons per year to 113 thousand tons per year," he said.

PGUN Corporate Secretary Muhammad Reza added that his party targets to plant 700 ha of new oil palm this year and plans to plant around 2,000 ha of new oil next year. The new planting is expected to boost the company's oil palm productivity. 

"We also plan to merge with PT Senabangun Anekapertiwi with the aim of expanding the company's land area and maximizing productivity," he said.

This year, PGUN targets the production of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) of 171,011 tons, up 16.8 percent from last year's 146,410 tons. CPO production is targeted at 70,923 tons, an increase of 13.2% compared to last year's 62,650 tons. It is expected that PGUN's net sales will be able to penetrate Rp 1.04 trillion this year, growing 32 percent compared to last year's Rp 786.68 billion.
