"Today we scored a goal, but the defense was lacking again. We were lucky not to concede the third goal early in the second half. We weren't strong enough as a team to turn things around in this game."

“Soft defence. What matters in this case is mentality. The mentality of not giving the opponent the slightest chance. We have to be tough as a team and show a different mentality," said Thomas Tuchel.

The achievement of zero points gave a reaction of disappointment for Tuchel, especially to the mentality of Chelsea players.

"Those two goals shouldn't have happened if you were hoping to win the game on the night at the away stadium," Tuchel concluded.
