network trials 5G at a number of points in the Jakarta area.
Previously, we had tested how fast the 5G signal was at the Telkomsel office in South Jakarta.
In order to continue the findings, this time The Newbie tested 5G network Indosat Ooredoo .
On Thursday (26/5), three The Newbie teams visited the Indosat Ooredoo office in Central Jakarta.
We are trying to see the speed of Indosat Ooredoo's 5G network at the office directly.
The choice of location is expected to provide the maximum experience in using the current 5G network provided by Indosat Ooredoo.

Testing Using OpenSignal and SpeedTest Applications
Like the previous activity, The Newbie is back to testing using the OpenSignal application.
For those of you who don't know, OpenSignal is an application that can be used to describe the signal speed of the provider to operate the internet network.
OpenSignal can also provide detailed information regarding these capabilities, ranging from Download , Upload , to Latency .
And for testing the 5G Indosat Ooredoo , The Newbie also used the SpeedTest application.
However, even though using two test applications, it is still important to remember that the accuracy of an application is debatable and subjective.
5G network Indosat Ooredoo
network trial Indosat Ooredoo 5G , The Newbie tried it twice.
Because when it was done for the first time, the OpenSignal application only captured the 4G network on the smartphone that The Newbie was using.
However, as a result, the 4G network has been able to record numbers that are quite fast and can be categorized as a 5G network.
From the screenshot, it can be seen that the download speed of Indosat Ooredoo's 4G network can reach 110 Mbps.
Then for uploads or uploads , the OpenSignal application records a value of 41.7 Mbps with a latency of 21ms.
So what about the second test?
Different from the first, the second Indosat Ooredoo 5G network trial uses the SpeedTest application.
Through this application, The Newbie managed to capture the 5G network available in the Indosat Ooredoo office area.
The results also seem quite different from the first.
It can be seen that Indosat Ooredoo's 5G network achieved 167Mbps download .
While talking upload speeds, the 5G network has a value of 43.5 Mbps with a latency rate of 25ms.

Network Speed 5G for Downloading Apps
After testing 5G network Indosat Ooredoo through two applications, namely OpenSignal and SpeedTest, The Newbie has also tried its speed for downloading applications.
Trying to install an application measuring around 300MB, Indosat Ooredoo's 5G network was able to record quite impressive results.
The Newbie's experience feels that the application can be downloaded in less than 1 minute.
So what do you think about the results of the 5G Indosat Ooredoo testing activity that The Newbie has done?
Hopefully this information can help you to get an overview of the current 5G network speed in the Jakarta area
