Apple is predicted to launch the iPhone 14 series at the Apple Event at the end of 2022.

As usual, ahead of the launch of the iPhone 14 series, there are a number of predictions from Apple analysts and technology analyst companies.

Some time ago, predictions about the detailed specifications of the iPhone 14 Series were revealed by a technology analyst company from Taiwan, TrendForce.

Based on the results of the latest research published last June 1, TrendForce revealed that the iPhone 14 series will have different storage RAM variants, both in terms of quality and capacity.

TrendForce says that the iPhone 14 Pro models will feature enhanced RAM.

Then, the RAM in the iPhone 14 Pro also has a more efficient consumption.

TrendForce mentions that the type of RAM the iPhone 14 Pro will use is LPDDR5.

While the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 Max models are projected to continue to use LPDDR4X.

If the TrendForce report is correct, here are the RAM variants that will be used in the iPhone 14 series.

  • iPhone 14: 6GB LPDDR4X
  • iPhone 14 Max : 6GB LPDDR4X
  • iPhone 14 Pro: 6GB LPDDR5
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max: 6GB LPDDR5
Then for storage, TrendForce predicts the non-Pro iPhone 14 series will have the lowest capacity of 128GB.

While the iPhone 14 Pro model will carry memory ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

The difference between the pro and non-pro models will also be clearly visible in terms of camera and chipset specs.

The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max cameras will carry a triple-camera configuration consisting of 48MP, 12MP, and 12MP.

While the non-Pro iPhone 14 will be equipped with dual 12MP + 12MP cameras.

For the kitchen runway, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will be powered by the A15 chipset with 5nm plus fabrication from TSMC.

While the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be powered by the A16 chipset with 4nm fabrication from TSMC.

For a clearer explanation, the following is an image of the forecast table iPhone 14 Series specifications from TrendForce.
