It should be noted that throughout 2021, BCA Syariah recorded a profit before tax of Rp. 107.5 billion, an increase of 16.1 percent on an annual basis (year-on-year/yoy). Meanwhile, BCA Syariah assets grew 9.5 percent yoy from Rp9.7 trillion to Rp10.6 trillion last year.
The increase in BCA Syariah assets in 2021 was driven by growth in deposits which reached Rp7.7 trillion, or an increase of 12.1 percent yoy compared to December 2020.
