Official! Wuling Electric Car Becomes the Official Vehicle for the G20 Summit

This information was conveyed directly at the pre-launch entitled Electrify Your World which took place today at Laguna Atrium, Central Park, Jakarta.

This symbolic form of participation was marked by the opening of the Wuling electric vehicle envelope, whose exterior was given a creation with the theme of the G20 Summit with Shi Guoyong as President Director of Wuling Motors and Setya Utama as Secretary of the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia.

Wuling Motors Brand & Marketing Director Dian Asmahani said that his party was proud to inform that the electric car to be produced in Indonesia had officially become the official car partner of the upcoming G20 Summit.

"This is an extraordinary first step for Wuling electric vehicles to be part of international-scale activities and contribute to government programs in terms of accelerating vehicle electrification in Indonesia," said Dian in an official statement on Wednesday (1/6/2022)

There are as many as 300 Wuling EV units that are ready to support mobility needs during the G20 Summit activities. Later, all units used in the event will be units produced at the Wuling factory facility located in Cikarang, West Java.

As additional information, the Wuling EV with the G20 livery has been shown for the first time today and is on display until June 5, 2022 at Laguna Atrium Central Park, Jakarta.
