The film Keluarga Cemara 2 received a standing ovation from the audience at the world premiere at the 2022 Bali International Film Festival (Balinale).
The audience who watched the film by Ismail Basbeth were quite satisfied that they gave a standing ovation after the screening on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
The warm welcome from the Balinale audience made Anggia Kharisma as the producer happy.
"From the beginning of making the film, my team and I wanted to make a film that could show a complete family. So that friends who watched it would feel related and touched by the film," said Anggia in a written press statement, Friday (10/6/2022) .
The conflict presented in this sequel film is deliberately kept simple so that it can be felt by the audience.
Anggia Kharisma hopes the Cemara 2 Family provide warmth like in the first film.
Director Fajar Nugros who also attended the premiere of Keluarga Cemara 2 gave his praise for this film by Visinema Pictures.
"The film intelligently raises the story of the search for a missing family," said Fajar.
"If asked to give a word for Keluarga Cemara 2 , I can say that this film is neon, it warms and explains," continued.
Wait for the new chapter of the story of Abah, Emak, Euis, Ara, and Agil in theaters on June 23, 2022.
