When a user leaves a group on WhatsApp , WhatsApp will provide information to all group members that the user has left the group.
The information or notification is conveyed through the group conversation window which usually reads "... (user's phone number) left".
Now, WhatsApp is allegedly making a feature to leave the group secretly without other members knowing.
This indication was detected from information obtained by the site leaking WhatsApp's new features , WABetaInfo .
In its latest report, WABetaInfo shared a screenshot window pop-up
The pop-up is said to appear when a user wants to leave a WhatsApp group .
window pop-up informs that other group members, except group admins, will not be notified when the user leaves the WhatsApp group.
According to WABetaInfo , this WhatsApp group exit notification cannot be hidden from the group admin.
Because, the admin is the party who has the authority in a WhatsApp group, so they will know all the activities in the group.
Furthermore, WABetaInfo said that this feature will be a permanent replacement of the "... (user phone number) left" notification earlier.
So that in the future, users can freely leave a WhatsApp without being noticed by other members (except the admin).
There is no information yet when the feature to hide notifications from leaving this group will be officially launched by WhatsApp.
However, WABetaInfo claims that this feature is under development and will be launched in the future on WhatsApp desktop beta version, as summarized blogbebasapaaja from WABetaInfo.
In the future, WABetaInfo believes that this feature will also be tested and present in WhatsApp beta versions of Android and iOS.
