Preparing the Blog
- After we complete the WordPress installation process, we can begin to complete the contents of our blog. The first thing we have to prepare is what form our blog will take. First, we go to the Wp admin, at Dewaweb https://domainname.com/wp-admin, (other hosting may be different). And we will go to the Admin page. Then the first thing you have to do is choose a Theme that suits you.
- After you click 1 and 2, the themes provided by wordpress for free will appear, if there is a suitable one, please click activate but if it doesn't match, you can choose number 3 to see more Theme collections, then if you can select Install and Activate. Then the Theme is ready to use. (In this case I choose Twenty Ten )
- After the theme is installed, please click on Customize, and the image below will appear.
- Then, determine the name of the WEB, don't forget to use keywords that are widely searched but the competition is low. For example, here I choose Life Insurance Today. Do not forget after your installation Click Published, which is written in the blue box above, and see on the right is the form of the web that will be presented.
- The next step is to create the MAIN MENU , close the page above and return to the front page. Then select Pages and then select Add New.
- In the top column, fill in your menu name, for example “Company Profile”, in the space below it fill in the content you prepared. If so, then click "publish". Done, the first top menu is ready.
- Company Profile : Write a complete profile of your insurance company, including what its advantages are.
- Agent Profile : Write your personal profile according to your agency license identity, make it as unique as possible, complete with a picture of the agency license to complete it.
