"BRI continues to urge all customers to always be careful in carrying out various financial transactions by not informing the confidentiality of personal data and banking data to other people or parties on behalf of the bank," he said, Saturday (21/5).
Banking data such as account numbers, Personal Identification Number (PIN), internet banking users and passwords, One Time Password (OTP), and others must be kept confidential by customers.
More protection efforts can be carried out by customers by periodically changing PINs and passwords to avoid burglary practices by irresponsible people.
“Customers are expected not to disclose information that can give access to accounts, such as passwords and PINs. Customers are obliged to keep it a secret from anyone, including family, relatives, and bank officers," said Aestika.
