The series of dramas that aired this weekend competed quite fiercely. Some dramas reap stagnant or declining results. However, this does not apply to the drama Young Lady and Gentleman .
Data from Nielsen Korea shows, the KBS2 drama managed to carve the best personal rating of 35.7 percent. Previously, the highest rating achieved by Young Lady and Gentleman was 34.5 percent.
The success of Young Lady and Gentleman is said to have been affected by the special concert of trot star Lim Young Woong. Allegedly, the number of viewers from the older generation and an average rating of 16.1 percent, dramas with similar audiences also have a positive influence.
Meanwhile, KBS1's drama, The King of Tears , Lee Bang Won , is in decline. Their latest national rating was 6.7 percent. Whereas the previous night, the drama received a rating of 8.7 percent.
In the realm of cable TV, Bulgasal and Snowdrop have not had a satisfactory record.
Rating Bulgasal slightly decreased to 4.1 percent. The previous rating was 4.8 percent.
Finally, the JTBC drama Snowdrop won a national rating of 2,751 percent for episode 5. Nielsen said, this was a pretty good increase compared to the previous episode, which was 1,689 percent. Even so, Snowdrop has not passed their best rating in the first two episodes which reached 3 percent. (*)
