No one can make the internet talk like Emily Cooper. The fashion-forward influencer is finally back for a season 2 full of romantic drama and career bombs. But the biggest surprise came at the ending of Emily in Paris season 2. It was not a beautiful story that was built at first. After cliffhanger that major , here are some theories about Emily in Paris season 3. SPOILER ALERT!!!!


Emily is forced to make a big decision at the end of season 2. After Sylvie, Julien, and Luc leave Savoir due to Madeline's controlling management, Emily's world is torn in two. Her French friends offer her a place at their new firm, but Emily is on track for promotion with the Gilbert Group if she moves back to Chicago as planned.

The decision was further complicated by an unfortunate reunion. After finally mustering up the courage to tell Gabriel that she loves him, Emily learns that she is back together with Camille once again.

Heartbroken, Emily called Sylvie and stated that she had made her decision. Although the audience never heard what the decision was. To be honest , it feels pretty clear what he's going to decide, so let's start there.

1. Emily will live in Paris



The series literally says "Emily in Paris" so , she's not leaving! Paris is a major part of the DNA show's , so if Netflix does make a season third , it's guaranteed to continue to be set in the City of Lights. Sure, finding out about Gabriel and Camille might make Emily want to pack up and go home, but she's always put her career first and it's clear she really appreciates Sylvie's guidance.

2. Emily and Alfie will break up

Alfie did not ever really have a chance, is not it? The British banker manages to captivate Emily throughout season 2, but Emily's heart is always with Gabriel, even when he's dating for the first time.

While the two ended season 2 still in a relationship, Alfie revealed that he would have to move back to London, which was bound to cost things a lot, as is often the case with long distance romances. Overall, the Emily-Alfie relationship definitely has an expiration date.

3. Emily started dating Gabriel?

 

Emily in Paris fans have been waiting for two for the two seasons full to finally come together, and season 3 might finally be the time. Sure, Gabriel had just started over with Camille, but there was a big fact he didn't know yet that could change everything.

In season 2, Camille makes Emily promise neither of them will date Gabriel, which is secretly the reason Emily stopped pursuing her. Now that Camille had broken that promise, Emily could uncover it, or Gabriel could learn the truth some other way. Either way , he'll probably realize Emily only stayed away because of a promise, not because she's stopped having feelings.

4. Mindy will face her father

Drama with Mindy's family has been talked about a lot on the show , but viewers haven't actually met her parents. Season 2 came close to revealing Mindy's dad in Saint-Tropez, where he misses him. All those little mentions can build Mindy who is finally reunited with her family to clear things up in season 3.


5. Julien will finally get his own love story

Julien had a hard time in season 2. Emily wasn't the only person who made Julien sad. Because ja is only constantly stealing the limelight at work, but also, when Mindy tries to set him up with his bandmate, Benoît, the musician turns out to have feelings for Mindy — not Julien.

It's time for Julien to find love, and it looks like it might happen in season 3. Julien has a brief flirtation with Ellen von Unwerth's assistant, Gerhardt, which ends with an invitation to visit him in Germany. This is Julien's hope in season 3.(*)
