Google has just made a new breakthrough in its online map application, Google Maps .
The company from the United States is known to present a feature that allows business people to use the LGBTQ + label on Google Maps.
Reporting from TechCrunch, Thursday (23/6), the LGBTQ+ label on Google Maps is said to be a way for business people to show a unique impression on their business.
In addition, Google also considers that the LGBTQ + label can make it easier for people to identify businesses through the Google Maps service.
“We wanted to make it easier for other people to find LGBTQ+-owned businesses in their own communities,” said Mackenzie Thomas, Product Inclusion and Marketing Leader at Google.
Then the list of LGBTQ+ labels available on Google Maps currently includes Black, Latino, Veterans, and Women's labels.
Google has also pinned other labels such as LGBTQ+ Friendly to Transgender Safe Room.
The labels can also be seen directly by Google Maps users through the smartphone application.
"Starting today, US sellers with verified Business Profiles on Google can add LGBTQ+-owned attributes to their profiles," explains Kanzie.
He adds, “Making it easier for customers to find and support them through Search and Maps.”

Google Maps users in the US are free to filter their businesses by using identities formed by the LGBTQ+ label.
The only way is to enter Merchant Center > Business Information > About Your Business > Business Identity Attributes.
