Rangnick Enters Manchester United History Book, Sets Embarrassing Record

Ralf Rangnick will play his last match as Manchester United on Sunday (22/5/2022) night WIB. Rangnick led Manchester United to visit Crystal Palace in the final week of the 2021/2022 Premier League.

After the match against Palace, Rangnick will stop coaching Manchester United . Next season the Red Devils will be held by the current coach of Ajax Amsterdam, Erik ten Hag. Rangnick will switch as an adviser to United while also managing the Austrian national team.

Under Rangnick's tutelage, Manchester United slumped. The German has been unable to change the club's fortunes since being appointed to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the end of 2021.

Regardless of what results United get when they visit Selhurst Park tonight, Ralf Rangnick will enter the history books. Unfortunately, the history of the 63-year-old man is embarrassing.

Rangnick will be listed as the Manchester United manager with the lowest percentage of wins in Premier League history. Rangnick only incised 43.5 percent. Rangnick coached Manchester United in the Premier League 23 games and won only 10 times.

Since replacing Solskjaer, Rangnick has served in 28 United matches in various competitions. He presented 11 wins, 10 draws and seven defeats. Manchester United's percentage of wins under Rangnick in various competitions is 39.29 percent.

Bad

In addition, Manchester United also finished with the lowest collection of points in the history of the Premier League. They currently have only 58 points and are in sixth place.

Even if they win over Palace, MU's collection of points this season is still the worst in history following the Premier League.

Young Player

In the match against Palace, MU is likely to play a lot of young players because they don't have any interest. Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is also likely to be absent.

It is certain that Manchester United will not qualify for the Champions League next season because they finish outside the top four of the 2021/2022 Premier League standings.
