This episode continues the story of the battle of Tanjiro, Tengen Uzui, Inosuke, and Zenitsu against the demons Daki and Gyutaro.
Tengen Uzui faces a deadly battle against Gyutaro.
Inosuke manages to attack Daki, but Gyutaro manages to retaliate.
After a grueling battle, they haven't been able to beat Gyutaro and Daki.

Flashback Episode 16 Entertainment District Arc
Episode 16 is titled Once we Defeat an Upper Rank Demon.
Tengen Uzui fought against Upper Moon 6 , Gyutaro and Daki.
In the midst of his fight, Hinatsuru appears and attacks Gyutaro to help Tengen Uzui.
Hinatsuru remembered being together with Tengen Uzui, Makio, and Suma at the grave of Tengen Uzui's brother.
Unfortunately, Gyutaro regenerated his body faster and ran towards Hinatsuru.
When Tengen Uzui was about to save Hinatsuru, Daki's obi suddenly locked him up.
Tengen Uzui's memory suddenly appeared when he enjoyed the afternoon with Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru.
Hinatsuru said he wanted to live peacefully with them after the mission to defeat the demons was over.
He also advised, if one of them is no longer together, then let no one hate.
When Tengen Uzui's concern arises over Hinatsuru's safety, Tanjiro tries to fight Gyutaro with his Hinokami Kagura stance.
However, he failed because he was too tired.
Tanjiro decides to use a water slash and manages to save Hinatsuru.
Meanwhile, Inosuke and Zenitsu's fight against Daki is fierce.
They had a hard time getting close to Daki because Obi kept fighting back.
Zenitsu advises Inosuke to aim for Daki's neck, then attacks him with two swords simultaneously.
After Hinatsuru went into hiding, Tanjiro helped Inosuke and Zenitsu.
Zenitsu and Tanjiro protect Inosuke's steps who are running towards Daki.
Inosuke managed to slash Daki and brought his head away from his body.
Meanwhile, Tanjiro plans to help Tengen Uzui's fight against Gyutaro.
But he was surprised when he saw that Gyutaro managed to catch up with Inosuke and stabbed him with a poisoned scythe.
Tanjiro hurried to find Tengen Uzui.
The first thing he saw was Tengen Uzui's severed hand and he was already unconscious.
