The film " Mammum 2 " was made by Dee Company with Blue Water Films by MD Pictures.

"This really makes us excited to see results like this. Seeing this industry back again, now many friends of producers are convinced to show films in theaters," he continued.
Meanwhile, Guntur Soeharjanto as the director of the film "Makmum 2" said that this achievement was a very special thing, considering that the current capacity for the number of viewers in cinemas was not 100 percent due to the regulation of social distancing to prevent the transmission of COVID-19.
"What's special is that the cinema's full status is not 100 percent, but at most 75 to 50 percent. That means, it's only half full. But being able to gather one million viewers is special for me," said Guntur.
According to Guntur, the achievement of one million viewers proves that Indonesian audiences are ready to return to the cinema. So, he hopes, "Makmum 2" can be a trigger for filmmakers to be more enthusiastic about showing their films in theaters.
"If cinemas are crowded, film makers are excited to make more. Producers are also confident in their films. So, yes, it's back to being like before the pandemic, that's fun," he added.
"Makmum 2" will be released on December 30, 2021 and will be broadcast simultaneously on 255 screens in Indonesia. Dheeraj said, the number of screens continues to grow and even more than doubled.
"(Currently) there are 562 screens in all cinemas throughout Indonesia," he said.
The film stars Titi Kamal, Samuel Rizal, Marcella Zalianty, Dea Panendra, Pritt Timothy, Otig Pakis, Fuad Idris, to Ence Bagus.
