The Wagner Group is a Russian paramilitary organization, which started operations in 2014.
This group also has the designation as “PMC Wagner”, which means “Wagner Private Military Company”.
The St. Petersburg-headquartered organization is still operating today, and by December 2022 is expected to have a total membership of around 50,000 people.
They have participated in various military operations in various parts of the world with affiliations with Russia.
Some of the operations that became the field of this group include the War in Donbass in 2014-2022, the Syrian civil war, the Sudanese civil war.
