Most recently, the FCC has officially approved the new Redmi phone with model number 2212ARNC4L. And according to the IMEI database, this Redmi phone model is called Redmi 12C and is expected to be launched in the global market soon.
Earlier this year, Redmi launched the Snapdragon 680-equipped Redmi 10C in various markets. And now that on the IMEI database has appeared the name of Redmi 12C, perhaps the company has omitted the Redmi 11C phone model.
Although the upcoming information has been revealed, there are currently no specifications of the Redmi 12C. But presumably the device will launch on MIUI 13 operating system as well as support dual-band Wi-Fi and LTE connectivity.
Based on the model number, the device is expected to be launched this December and belongs to the same low-cost segment as its predecessors Redmi 9C and Redmi 10C.
In fact, this past November a Redmi phone with model number 22120RN86C believed to belong to Redmi 11A was spotted at TENAA. The Indian version of this device has been certified by BIS and recently the international version has also appeared in the IMDA database.
According to the TENAA listing, the Redmi 11A is expected to have a 6,708-inch IPS LCD HD+ screen, with a 50MP dual camera cluster and a 5MP selfie camera. The device will be powered by an unknown processor with 8 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz. Redmi 11A is integrated with a large 5,000 mAh battery that runs on Android 12 based on MIUI 13.
The device is expected to have 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Besides, there are also some other features of this Remi 11A that have been revealed such as LTE connectivity, IR blaster as well as an edge fingerprint sensor.
