Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie tells the story of Yuka Okkotsu, who has a childhood friend named Rika Orimoto. The two then promised to marry when they were adults.

But unfortunately Rika had to die in an accident, and then she turned into a cursed spirit that came to haunt Yuta.

In order to subdue the curse, Yuta is offered by Satoru Gojo to enter the Jujutsu School. Yuta then agreed and met with three other characters, namely, Inumaki Toge, Panda, and Maki Zenin.

Under the guidance of Satoru Gojo, Yuta tries to break the curse. Yuta also fights the power of Suguru Geto, a powerful magician who was expelled from the Jujutsu school for slaughtering ordinary people. 

In the Jujutsu Kaisen universe, curses come in the form of monsters that are the embodiment of negative emotions.

Anime movie yang dirilis di Jepang pada 24 December 2021 ini dibintangi oleh Megumi Ogata, Kana Hanazawa, Mikako Komatsu, Kōki Uchiyama, Tomokazu Seki, Yuichi Nakamura, dan Takahiro Sakurai.

The prequel was written by Hiroshi Seko and co-produced by Masaya Saito, Yuri Murai and Toshihiro Maeda, with Toho as distributor.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie (2021) managed to get a positive response from anime fans, as they achieved an average score of 7.9/10 (10,739) on IMDb and 8.5/10 out of 135,443 reviews on the MAL .

In addition, this anime movie that comes with the dark fantasy genre has managed to earn $190.3 million in screenings in all theaters.
