The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) has the potential for a technical rebound in tomorrow's trading, Tuesday (19/7). The JCI closed up 0.11% to 6,659.25 on Monday (18/7).
Phintraco Sekuritas analyst Valdy Kurniawan analyzed that as long as the JCI stays above 6,630, the JCI maintains a technical rebound to the range of 6,680 to 6,700 in tomorrow's trading.
Valdy said rebound that occurred in the majority of indices in Europe until Monday (18/7) afternoon WIB could be a positive catalyst for the JCI in tomorrow's trading.
"This is influenced by market expectations that the Fed will not be as aggressive as previously thought in the FOMC July 27, 2022, which is speculated to be raising the benchmark interest rate by 100 basis points," he said Monday (18/7).
According to him, market players have also begun to understand that policy tightening is needed to suppress inflation in order to achieve sustainable growth in their country or region.
Therefore, he recommended market participants to pay attention to the potential for further rebound in bank stocks, especially PT Bank Central Asia Tbk ( BBCA ) and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk ( BMRI ).
In addition, investors and market players can also watch rebounds in the shares of PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk ( AALI ), PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia Tbk ( LSIP ), PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk ( DSNG ), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk ( ICBP ), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk ( INDF ) and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk ( UNVR ).
