Primatexco's ship carrying raw materials in the form of cotton caught fire on January 27, 2022, causing damage to the raw materials.
PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia or Asuransi Jasindo paid insurance claim belonging to PT Primatexco Indonesia worth Rp979.46 million.

He said cargo insurance is important for the transportation industry. Jasindo Insurance provides guarantees against the risks that threaten the company's goods transported by land, sea, or air.
"Types of transportation insurance include land transit [land], air transit [ (air], marine cargo [sea]," Diwe added.
After the Covid-19 pandemic, he is also optimistic that insurance in the cargo sector will begin to grow in mid-2022.
