PT Bank Nationalnobu Tbk (NOBU) targets to be able to disburse new loans of up to Rp 2 trillion in semester II-2022. By doing so, Bank Nobu hopes that by the end of the year, it can record credit realization reaching Rp 13.5 trillion.

Bank President Director Nobu Suhaimin Djohan said that credit distribution this year was quite challenging but its realization was still on the right track until semester I-2022. Global economic developments with inflation rates in various countries will be considered by companies to determine the value of distribution in the second half of this year.

"The loan target at the end of the year is expected to reach Rp 13.5 trillion. So our journey is still to (add) another Rp 2 trillion for new loans in the second semester of 2022. We will study how big the global economic impact will be and what our government will do. ," said Suhaimin in Jakarta, Monday (20/6/2022).

Recently, Bank Nobu inaugurated a synergistic collaboration with PT SRC Indonesia Sembilan (SRCIS), which is a subsidiary of PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP). This collaboration resulted in the provision of digital banking products, including capital support for grocery stores under the SRC network in the form of digitally accessible people's business credit facilities (KUR Digital).

Suhaimin said Bank Nobu had a clear mission in its alignment with MSMEs and the empowerment of inclusive digital finance. The Company provides products and services that meet the needs of MSMEs, one of which is in terms of capital, namely KUR. In line with the spirit of banking digitalization, Bank Nobu has developed digital KUR distribution to make it more accessible to MSMEs wherever they are.

"Cooperation with SRCIS, which already has a digital platform, certainly opens wider opportunities for grocery store owners under the auspices of SRC to develop their business through capital support with very low interest rates," he explained.

He said, inclusive digital banking services with low interest rates and simple requirements. Even loans under Rp 100 million can be unsecured. "This SRC has 160,000 grocery store partners who have great potential for companies to be able to provide digital KUR services," added Suhaimin.

Meanwhile, SRC Director Rima Tanago said that the collaboration with Bank Nobu would be a separate milestone for the development of the SRCIS network in the future. The provision of capital through KUR is very important for the business development of SRC's fostered grocery stores, because strengthening capital is the first step for them to increase their competitiveness in the midst of modern competition.

"The application process that can be done in the AYO SRC TOKO application is an added value that greatly facilitates shop owners. This is because access to the KUR program and the application process becomes easier," he explained.

Expansion of Inclusion

Suhaimain explained that the cooperation in distributing KUR from Bank Nobu with various ecosystems will accelerate and expand financial inclusion because it can reach MSME actors who have been experiencing difficulties in accessing capital with affordable interest rates. Bank Nobu will continue to strive to expand partnerships with various parties in the distribution of KUR, especially those who have the same vision in supporting MSME players and the creative industry to continue to grow and develop in a sustainable manner.

Suhaimin added, Along with the development of banking digitalization, Bank Nobu continues to take digital transformation steps. One of them is the focus on developing the concept of open banking, part of the National Open API Payment Standard (SNAP) program of Bank Indonesia (BI). This is important so that partners can be connected to the bank.

"Now there are dozens of partners, we will start with existing partners. Of course starting from QRIS, we will connect to BI Fast which is starting to roll out. All of these partners will be able to participate in providing digital banking services efficiently, banks only help facilitate," he said.

SNAP allows spurring money circulation and fee-based income for banks. However, Suhaimin continued, the most important thing is that customers want to use digital banking services at a low cost. For example, in BI Fast, the company is committed to first introducing this service to customers by freeing transfer fees.
