Despite the Soaring Avtur Load, AirAsia Indonesia (CMPP) Successfully Reduces Losses

PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) posted operating revenues of Rp 276.71 billion in the first quarter of 2022, up 23.7 percent from the same period last year which amounted to Rp 223.71 billion.

In its financial report, AirAsia Indonesia also recorded a net operating expense of IDR 718.89 in the first three months of 2022, a 20.9% decrease from the first quarter of 2021 which was IDR 908.79 billion.

However, it was recorded that the fuel cost in the first quarter of 2022 reached Rp. 170.21 billion, or an increase of almost 30 percent from the first quarter of 2021, which was Rp. 130.95 billion.

CMPP also still posted an operating loss of Rp 442.18 billion in the first quarter of 2022. However, it is 35.45% smaller than the first quarter of 2021, which amounted to Rp 685.07 billion.

The current year's loss attributable to owners of the parent entity in the first quarter of 2022 is Rp 503.55 billion. This figure decreased by 32.64 percent from the first quarter of 2021, which was Rp. 747.62 billion.

In terms of assets, as of March 31, 2022, AirAsia Indonesia recorded total assets of Rp 4.98 trillion. Smaller than the asset value as of December 31, 2021, which amounted to Rp. 5.14 trillion.

Then, CMPP posted a total liability of Rp 10.69 trillion as of March 31, 2022. This figure increased from the record as of December 31, 2021, which amounted to Rp 10.35 trillion.

It was also noted that the accumulated loss of CMPP as of March 31, 2022 was Rp 12.09 trillion. Meanwhile, as of December 31, 2021, the value is IDR 11.58 trillion.
