Reporting from Wccftech, a user on the NGA.CN forum bought an ex-mined MSI GeForce RTX 3080 Supreme X and found a number of problems with its GPU.

The user pointed out that the mined RTX 3080 he just bought had a damaged warranty label on the screw.

This shows that crypto miners have dismantled the innards of the RTX 3080 for mining purposes.

After the user opens GPU-z, the RTX 3080 he just bought has only 8GB of VRAM. Though the RTX 3080 should have 10GB of VRAM.

Neither production variant features 8GB of VRAM on the 256-bit bus.
