YouTube Launches "Most Replayed", Makes It Easy to Watch Frequently Repeated Parts of Videos

YouTube diligent in adding new features to improve the user experience on its platform.

Most recently, streaming has officially launched a new feature called " Most Replayed " (most often played) globally, starting today.

Before being released to wider users, this Most Played feature has been tested on a limited basis to premium YouTube users some time ago.

"Now we're excited to bring the 'Most Played' feature to viewers on desktop and mobile today!" wrote Meaghan as Community Manager as well as TeamYouTube on page Google Support

As the name implies, the Most Replayed feature will make it easier for users to skip unwanted parts of the video and immediately watch the parts that are played back by other users.

Meaghan explained, later on, users will be able to see a preview graph in the progress bar (red line) for the part of the video that is often played back with (Most Replayed), as shown below.

Users can directly click on the preview to watch the part that is often played back by users.

This Most Replayed feature will be useful when users watch long videos that are not equipped with timestamps or chapter markers (video chapters).

"If the graphic is high, then that part of the video has been replayed a lot. You can use the graph to find and watch the moment quickly," wrote Meaghan, as compiled by The Newbie.

As observed byThe Newbie, Thursday afternoon, the new Most Played feature is not yet available on the youtube .com site and the YouTube application version 17.19.34 on Android phones.

This is fairly reasonable because usually new features are rolled out gradually. So, users have to wait for some time until the Most Played feature is available on the YouTube website and application on their cellphones.

In addition to the Most Played feature, YouTube has also released a number of other new features. Starting from the "loop" feature to play back videos continuously and the video chapter feature on SmartTV devices and game consoles,
