The question the 13 2022 civil servants and pensioners' salaries will be disbursed has been viral lately. Is it true that it will be pushed back to August?
As is known, the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has issued Government Regulation No. 16 of 2022 , which was signed on April 13, 2022 .
PP number 16 of 2022 contains the provision of holiday allowances and the 13th Salary for State Apparatus, Pensioners, Pension Recipients and Allowance Recipients in 2022 .
The purpose of the PP above is issued by considering that the Government continues to strive to maintain and increase the purchasing power of the people, including through the state apparatus.
In addition, the 13th THR and Salary are given to give appreciation for the dedication of state apparatus in serving the nation and state.
Allowance and Thirteenth Salary 2022 to state officials, retirees , pension recipients, and recipients of allowances as a form of appreciation for service to the nation and state by taking into account the state's financial capacity," emphasized in below.
So the salaries of the 13 civil servants and pensioners be disbursed? considering the THR has been paid before the holiday.
Answering the question, referring to the regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 75/PMK.05/ 2022 which regulates the disbursement of the 13th salary.
And refer to article 12 which contains the following:
(1) The thirteenth salary as referred to in below is paid no later than July.
(2) In the event that the Thirteenth Salary as referred to in paragraph (1) has not been paid, the Thirteenth Salary may be paid after July.
In paragraph one it is stated that the payment of the 13th salary is paid in July at the earliest.
Whereas in paragraph two it says, if it has not been paid according to the provisions of paragraph one, it will be paid after July, which means it could be paid in August.However, if there are no obstacles, the search will be in accordance with existing regulations based on paragraph one above, namely in July.
That's the information on the salary of the 13 civil servants and pensioners when it is disbursed, as well as the possibility of a delay in their payment.
