Indonesia Contributes Mitsubishi Sales in 2021, the Best Selling Xpander

Mitsubishi Motors sales in Indonesia are dominated by Xpander models, including the Xpander Cross with a model contribution of more than 49 percent.

PT Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia (MMKSI), the official distributor of Mitsubishi passenger and light commercial vehicles in Indonesia from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC), noted that Indonesia was the largest contributor sales throughout the 2021 fiscal year.

The company's total sales were more than 114,265 units or contributed more than 12 percent to MMC's global sales. This also makes MMKSI the largest contributor to MMC retail sales on a global scale.

MMKSI's sales achievement in 2021 increased by 60,186 units or by 111 percent compared to the previous year. Indonesia ranks as the distributor with the best retail sales performance, followed by the United States and Japan.

Then, followed by L300 with a contribution of 24.4 percent and Pajero Sport 17.4. While about 9 percent of the other models donated Triton, Eclipse Cross, and Outlander PHEV2.

"We hope that Mitsubishi Motors' achievements can make a positive contribution to the automotive industry, economic growth and the interests of society at large," said PT MMKSI President Director Naoya Nakamura in a press statement, Tuesday (24/5/2022).
