PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) announced a new board of directors last week, Wednesday (18/5/2022). This is one of the company's efforts to implement a strategy in the midst of intense global automotive competition.

Established for 44 years since 1978, ADM has successfully maintained the 2nd position in automotive sales in Indonesia for 13 consecutive years since 2009.

To go further, ADM also refreshed the board of directors. ADM directors are currently occupied, including President Director Yasushi Kyoda, who previously served as Finance Director.

Meanwhile, the Vice President Director is Erlan Krisnaring. Then the Director of Karawang Engine Plant Hiroshi Kitagawa.

The new directors of ADM are Eiji Mishima as Director of Research & Development, Sri Agung Handayani as Director of Marketing and Director of Corporate Planning & Communication, and Takuya Kenzaki as Director of Production Control & Logistics and Director of Export Import.

One of the new faces is Sri Agung Handayani. Previously, the position occupied by the former Director of Astra Life was Amelia Tjandra.

The figure of Amelia Tjandra is known to be familiar with the media crew. The change of position was because Amelia Tjandra had entered her retirement period after going through a long journey of 32 years working at ADM.

“After traveling for a long time across industries, I finally returned to automotive. We ask for the support and trust from all customers, and hopefully Daihatsu can always be close to customers," said Sri Agung Handayani.

Sri Agung Handayani previously also had experience in the automotive world. This female figure has also worked for quite a long time at PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM).
