The crash of this plane clearly caused a public commotion, because the CCTV footage showed a Boeing plane in free fall with a sharp downward swooping position.

It is known from the cctv media, the rescue team is on its way to the crash site of the Eastern Airlines Boeing 737-800 plane.

Unfortunately, it is not known with certainty what caused the 6-year-old plane to crash.

According to the Aviation Safety Network, China's last fatal jet crash occurred in 2010.

At the time of the fatal jet crash, 44 of the 96 people died when the regional Embraer E-190 jet crashed while approaching Yichun airport in low visibility. The jet that crashed in 2010 was flown by Henan Airlines.

From the video shown by The Sun, the plane seemed to dive freely downwards and then a loud bang was heard. After the sound of the explosion, suddenly a large fire appeared and even caused black smoke from the crash site. Residents were seen running towards the location to save passengers.

Check Indonesian Citizens

Hearing this tragic news, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemlu RI) through a spokesman (spokesperson) Teuku Faizasyah said that his party was still checking whether or not the Indonesian citizens were added to the manifest list of the crashed plane.

Currently, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia (KJRI) in Guangzhou is trying to find information regarding the presence or absence of Indonesian citizens in the plane's manifest list.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs hopes that there are no Indonesian citizens on the plane's manifest list with flight number MU5735, because the flight is a domestic flight.

"Because domestic flights are not expected to have Indonesian citizens. However, it is being confirmed with the Consulate General in Guangzhou," said Faizasyah as quoted from The Newbie on Monday, March 21, 2022.
