Form Peduli Movement, Moonton Cares Ready to Help Victims of Natural Disasters

The developer of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang , Moonton, has made a new move in 2022. Moonton is currently busy with a disaster relief and relief movement called Moonton Cares .

These positive steps aim to empower local communities and create a better future for all. Not only that, this step also brings positive sociological, humanitarian and environmental changes.

One of the targets of the Moonton Cares movement is the victims affected by Typhoon Rai or commonly known as Tropical Cyclone Odette. This super typhoon is estimated to have caused more than 400 deaths and displaced thousands more when it hit several countries in Southeast Asia in late 2021.

One of the many countries affected by Typhoon Odette is the Philippines. The Filipino people even lost their property, residence, relatives, to family. Many Filipinos have also lost their livelihoods and lack food or drink supplies.

Therefore, as a first step, Moonton said that they had donated water, canned food, face masks, and menstrual pads to the affected communities.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the crisis," said Matt Jaron, manager of business development and marketing at Moonton Games. “We hope that the supplies will be able to ease some of their predicament and bring some light to their darkest hour. With #MOONTONCares, we want to play a more active role in supporting the vulnerable. Our team is here for the community, to help them on their journey to recovery."

Not only Moonton, Blacklist International, the winner of the M3 World Championship, also helped ease the burden on the Filipino community affected by the natural disaster of Typhoon Odette. With a cash prize of around IDR 4 billion from the M3 champion, they want to help disaster victims. (*)
