Sharing messages for mothers and lecturers throughout Indonesia. To advance the quality of education by utilizing technology .

Children's intelligence does not only depend on education, human resources, and fulfillment of nutrition.

Technology support, he said, could be a booster to make the quality of education better. In the hands of reliable mothers and lecturers, technology can also be a good educational tool because it can be a source of various kinds of reading materials and literature videos.

"Quality education does not only require competent human resources, but technology also greatly affects the quality of education in Indonesia today. Think!," said the proud alumni of the Surabaya Institute of Technology (ITS) virtually.

How to Use Cak Lontong-style Technology

According to Cak Lontong, education in Indonesia will continue to advance and develop if technology is utilized like this:

First, you have to be able to change your mindset. Now Indonesia is not a backward country. Education in Indonesia has human resources with a myriad of great skills. But not infrequently Indonesia is still stuck with the old ways of studying and working.

“I am an electrical engineer and actually feel inferior when I meet other ITS people, because I am the only engineer who becomes a comedian. But we need to be optimistic in a minimalist way, change the mindset, that is, I still use technology for other things, such as teaching children. The point is how to change the mindset to be able to combine the world of education with technology," said Cak Lontong.

Second, using technology should not be inferior. Although there are a lot of developed countries and smart people out there, but according to Cak Lontong, human resources in Indonesia are extraordinary. Unfortunately, Indonesian people usually feel inferior and do not want to learn when they face something that they have not mastered. For example, stuttering technology (technological gaps), then avoiding and even hostile to technology.

“Before the pandemic, I was a delegate from Indonesia. Like being sent via a package, suddenly I was in the Philippines and met representatives of other ASEAN member countries. It turns out that they always think about it when they meet Indonesia, amazed by the greatness of Indonesia. Therefore, please don't ever feel inferior. We have the same capabilities as other countries," said Cak Lontong.

Third
, must be brave and ready to compete. There is no easy way to achieve. Everything has to do with struggle. For parents and lecturers who are already elderly, it is certainly not easy to learn advanced technology and various new things. However, it is the fighting spirit of parents and lecturers in learning that will be transmitted to our children and students.

Therefore, parents and lecturers should not be tired of exploring the features of advanced technology that are already widely available on the internet to educate. Parents and educators are hoped that Cak Lontong can learn from Indonesia's past success, namely being able to export teachers to Malaysia, because of the high fighting spirit of the Indonesian people.

“In the 1960s to 1980s, Malaysia imported teachers from Indonesia to teach their children, it wasn't because Indonesians were smarter. But because Indonesians have a high fighting spirit and "want to think". We need to continue this, if we want our students to be smart, let's strive to take advantage of the Cloud-based Academic System (Siakadcloud) and various other latest technological facilities. Think!," concluded Cak Lontong with his flagship sentence.
