Apple Finally Get Rid of Notch on iPhone 14?

iPhone 13 , like the iPhone 12 and previous generations, still faithfully uses a notch or bangs to accommodate the front camera. Though the design can be said to be quite old school. So, what are the predictions for the iPhone 14 upcoming ?

It's been a long time since Android phone manufacturers no longer use the notch, especially in high-end phone models. But Apple apparently still uses this design since the iPhone X, which was introduced in 2017 until the iPhone 13, which was introduced this year.

Well next year, it is predicted that the iPhone 14 will finally no longer carry a notch, although it does not apply to all models. The standard iPhone 14 model will reportedly still use bangs.

"Apple is believed to be making a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and to replace the 5.4-inch iPhone mini which was less successful in the market, they made a new 6.7-inch size called the iPhone 14 Max," said Mac Rumors .

"Both models are expected to continue to feature a notch, which on the iPhone 13 has reduced the size of the bangs by 20%," they added.

Now, it is predicted that the top models will no longer use the notch. "While the iPhone 14 model will have a notch, the high end iPhone 14 model will replace it with a hole punch design, as seen on high end Android devices," continued Mac Rumors. These high end models are the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

This smaller camera hole design means that Apple had to redesign the front camera iPhone 14's and its technology like Face ID in a smaller space. The iPhone 14 itself, like the previous generation, will be released towards the end of 2022.
